About Frost Counseling
You deserve a therapist who truly sees you.
I'm so glad you're here. Getting to know your therapist before that first session matters — so let me introduce myself.
Your Therapist: Jessica Frost
Licensed Associate Counselor
I'm a Licensed Associate Counselor based in Goodyear, AZ, serving the West Valley and clients throughout Arizona via telehealth. I specialize in trauma-focused care and EMDR.
My path to counseling was shaped by a deep belief that every person carries a story worth being heard — and that healing is possible, no matter how long you've been carrying something heavy. I've worked with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction, relationship struggles, and the quiet weight of feeling stuck.
I'm trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and release traumatic memories. It's one of the most effective tools I've seen for lasting change — and I'm honored to offer it to my clients.
My approach to counseling is holistic. I believe healing happens in the mind, body, and soul, and I bring that whole-person perspective into every session. I believe our experiences shape not only the way we think and feel, but also how we experience safety, relationships, our bodies, and the world around us. I take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing that difficult or painful experiences can leave lasting effects long after the event itself has passed. Together, we can gently explore how past experiences may be impacting your thoughts, emotions, relationships, sense of safety, and connection with yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and never rushed to share more than you are ready to explore. For clients who find faith meaningful, I’m honored to integrate a Christian worldview into our work together. Faith can be an important source of hope, identity, meaning, strength, and healing. When appropriate and desired, we can explore how your relationship with God, Scripture, prayer, forgiveness, grace, and your understanding of yourself through faith may connect with your healing journey. I also recognize that faith itself can sometimes be complicated, especially when someone has experienced hurt, shame, loss, or trauma within a faith community. There is room to explore those experiences with honesty, compassion, and without judgment. At the same time, you do not need to share my faith to feel welcome here. Whether faith is central to your life, something you are questioning, or not part of your journey at all, you are welcome. Our work will be guided by your values, your goals, and what feels meaningful and helpful to you. My hope is to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can slow down, take a breath, and begin moving toward greater peace, healing, and wholeness.
My approach
Therapy that honors the whole person.
Trauma-Informed
Every session is shaped by an understanding of how trauma affects the mind and body. Safety, trust, and your pace always come first.
Evidence-Based
I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and other research-backed approaches — tailored to what works best for you.
Holistic
Healing isn't just cognitive. I pay attention to the whole person — mind, body, and soul — because all three are part of your story.
Faith-Friendly
For clients who hold a Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work. For those who don't, you'll find the same warmth and care here.
